"Sustainability is not only about technological adaptation; it's about enhancing social fabric, the patient extension and augmentation of our mutual connections, and our ability to function as a society."--
Damon Rich, Planning Director, Newark, New Jersey

The Sustainable Berkeley Coalition  works for open, transparent governance that supports our diverse community. Our purpose is to provide information to make it easier to be engaged in our community.

Announcements of Upcoming Berkeley City Meetings are posted weekly usually sometime between midnight Friday and Saturday noon for the upcoming week under What's Ahead with highlights from meeting agendas.

Community activist meetings and demonstrations are included under What's Ahead

If you have a meeting or demonstration announcement to add, please use the contact form. You can also use the contact for salient remarks or meeting summaries to post.

No one associated with Sustainable Berkeley Coalition is paid. Everyone is a volunteer. No funds for maintaining or updating the website are needed. The annual cost of the domain name and website is $144 and we plan to keep it that way.
